The Outstepping Parkinson’s project, for people with Parkinson’s, was developed in 2018. This is a partnership with: Parkinson’s UK NI branch, the Northern and Southern Trusts and Mid Ulster District Council.
Participants on this first programme had the opportunity to be involved in a short film regarding the benefits of set dancing for people with Parkinsons. This film was aired on the BBC One Show in August 2019.
In November 2019 this group also participated in the Take 5 Gala in the Burnavon theatre and arts centre, Cookstown, organised by the Northern and Southern Trusts to showcase their relevant projects.

Our Disability Arts Stakeholders Forum, established in 2007, offers a wide ranging annual programme of arts activities to the disabled residents of the Dungannon Borough in a number of outreach disabled centres. A programme of activities are also offered in Ranfurly House.
The Stakeholders Forum meets on a regular basis, sharing information on their projects for the benefit of the other stakeholders. They are keen to promote and encourage participation by people with disabilities in all or any aspects of the arts, visual and dramatic arts as well as music and dance.
Participating groups raise awareness among the general public about the experiences and abilities of people with disabilities involved in the arts through showcasing their work in their centres and in theatre performances.
Participants regularly exhibit their work collectively in the temporary exhibition space in Ranfurly House. Groups also use the Square Box auditorium in Ranfurly House to showcase their dancing and musical skills with performances for family and friends.
